Happy New Year (Decade) from WHO towers.
I know I'm early and probably only talking to a few posters and OMM's 130 user names.
Wishing all WHO'ers around the world a very happy new year (If you forget about the football) and a great new decade (If you forget about the football)
Unfortunately we've lost a few on the way - Pig Destroyer, Hammerhermit, Claret50 and Gavros to name a few.
The site is still going...Just.
I'm not sure how long for but I still feel we have something to offer, especially advice it seems, WHO being a bit more faceless than social media.
I wish everyone a healthy, long and prosperous future.
Onwards and upwards!
Thank you please.

Thamks to all the MODS as well and ALAN for sterling work on his paper round.

This site has been here for:
The birth of my Sons
My divorce
My 2nd Marriage
Four jobs
Two relegations
Three Play off Finals
and an FA Cup Final

It is out of kilter and a dinosaur and I love it.

Cheezey

Nurse alerted me to your enquiry about my possible death. I am touched.

As she relates below I am in very good health, news which no doubt will come as a disappointment to some on here.

I occasionally dip into WHO for team news and other West Ham related stuff, but I am a bit long in the tooth for the cut and thrust of the daily sparring with the trolls and nutjobs that followed me around like a pack of hounds when I was posting.

WHO is an excellent site, often witty and insightful, and relentlessly partisan behind my beloved West Ham United. Despite the fact that I no longer post on here, I hope the site organisers don't administer a fatal dose, as defjam suggested he might.

13 Brentford Road grassed the site to the internet police for anti-Jew comments and it got taken down as a site for inciting racial hatred until we had to prove we couldn't be racist because Defjam was in charge. The old "some of my best pals are black" method worked really well this time and we can go back to slagging of yids and blaming them for the world's injustices again.

The real positive for us in the dawn of this new decade is that THIS decade will be the one in which David Gold will certainly die, and with some hope and luck perhaps Sullivan too.

I wonder who will go first, Ted Fenton from here or David Gold?

Re: Happy New Year (Decade) from WHO towers.
There's a strong 'invisible' bond on WHO that is perhaps not always noticeable on a casual or day to day basis.
It was offline for a day or so, earlier in the year (something to do with the domain, iirc?), and many of us were champing at the bit in its absence. Initially, not knowing if it had gone for good was surprisingly stressful.

I have a good feeling about this next decade if the UK can stay on course for its independence. And we must hope GSB sell up to someone with much deeper pockets and a commitment to a proper professional culture at our club.

Fasten your seat belts...

Well done all.for making it this far.

Speaking of posters who died, Infidel hasn't posted for a long time.. I didn't agree with much he said on here, but he used to be prolific. Does anyone know?
